Simplicity

In 3 Nephi 11:32-39 it talks about the doctrine of Christ.  Verse 39 talks about how important this doctrine is by saying, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them."  That is a pretty awesome and strong promise.  Whenever I get confused on what my next step should be, or I feel like I am lacking in something, I like going back to this scripture and seeing what I can focus on.  A lot of other commandments and things grow off of these different principles, so it is a good place to start.  I like that thinking about these principles helps me have something to ponder on.
